Problem

You arrive. You take a photo. And then… you leave. Strawberry Fields holds decades of collective memory, yet most visitors experience it only briefly. Not because they don't care, but because the space has no way to invite you in. What if interaction design could change that?

Solution

Unseen Stories transforms a passive backdrop into an active invitation. Through two site-specific interactions, a vintage phone and a viewfinder, along with a take-home keepsake, it gives the space a voice, inviting people to slow down, notice, and feel more connected to the world around them.

"I love traveling, visiting museums and theaters, and experiencing immersive environments.

I love stories—and exploring the world through my senses.

Listening. Looking. Touching.

Two years ago, I moved to New York for the first time. Everywhere I went, I found a city full of stories. Yet most people simply walked past them.

That made me wonder:What if there was something that could make you pause, catch your attention, even just for a minute?"
