About Me
Hi, I’m Yinyin Zhou — a designer working at the intersection of research, interaction, and emerging technology.
Before becoming a designer, I spent over fifteen years in finance and management. That experience still shapes how I approach design today: I think in systems, navigate complexity, and look for the underlying structure behind problems.
My work now lives at the intersection of physical interaction, accessibility, AI, and spatial storytelling. I create experiences that people can touch, hear, and feel—experiences that invite reflection, connection, and discovery. Recent projects include Unseen Stories, an interactive installation exhibited at the NYCxDESIGN Festival.
I recently earned my MFA in Interaction Design from the School of Visual Arts (2026) and am seeking opportunities in creative technology, interactive experiences, and immersive environments.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, exploring new cities and cuisines, and spending time in museums, theaters, and cultural spaces that inspire meaningful human experiences.
